SATURDAY, April 27, 2013  9:00 AM TO 12:00 PM

RAIN DATE, SUNDAY, April 28, 2013

You are invited to join in a community clean-up on Saturday, April 27, in observance of Earth Day 2013. Rain date is Sunday, April 28.

Teams of volunteer "clean-up crews" will pick up trash around the Saw Mill Pond in North Kingstown. We will also be cleaning up the nature trails and outdoor classrooms at Davisville Middle and Elementary Schools, and around McGinn and Yorktown Parks.

Teams will work from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, lunch will follow for all volunteers. All ages are welcome to participate, but children must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Volunteers are encouraged to wear old clothes, and bring work gloves and tools like wheelbarrows and rakes.

The event is a great way for families, students and others to help clean up our community and enjoy the beauty of the Saw Mill Pond in Davisville.

To register as an individual or team, please email Walter at walter_berry@cox.net or call Jan at 885-4799.

This Earth Day activity is sponsored by the Concerned Citizens of Davisville (CCOD).

Come join your neighbors in this annual clean-up event!
